NFL Draft Prospect Will Anderson Says He Had A Great Meeting With 1 Team

Even though this upcoming NFL Draft isn’t exactly the deepest or more impressive in terms of talent, a few players surely stand out from the rest of the pack.

Of course, everybody’s talking about quarterbacks like Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson, but the best player from this class might as well be on the defensive side of the field.

Alabama’s Will Anderson has already drawn plenty of praise from NFL scouts, executives, and fans alike, and he’s already doing his thing in the NFL Scouting Combine.

Even though there’s no way he’s available when the seventh team is on the clock, the edge rusher has already met with seven teams, obviously including the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans, who have the first and second-overall picks, respectively.

He has a strong chance to be the first non-QB player to be off the board come April 28, and he would most definitely fit what the Bears need if they don’t trade down or use the pick to land Bryce Young.

Anderson has already stated that he had a great interview with the Texans and GM Nick Caserio.

The star player claims he’s going to do ‘just about everything’ at the combine, and he’s started to work out with linebackers on Thursday.

The Arizona Cardinals could also be another potential suitor for the defensive superstar, who became the first Alabama player to become a two-time unanimous All-American.

Anderson is the kind of disruptive force that could anchor a defense for years to come, so don’t be shocked if he goes first-overall next month.
