The NFL is a QB league, so landing a franchise cornerstone at that position pretty much sets you up for success.

It’s easier to build your team if you already have your guy at quarterback, and this upcoming NFL Draft class features some intriguing and promising talents.

And even though the consensus seems to be that Bryce Young could be the safest choice at that position, not everybody’s sold on him being the best quarterback in the class.

That seems to be the case with NFL analyst Keyshawn Johnson, who recently chose his top five QBs in this class, choosing Hendon Hooker, Bryce Young, Will Levis, Anthony Richardson, and C.J. Stroud at the top.

Notably, not many people have talked about Hooker, who excelled at Tennessee as one of the most efficient passers in all of the nation.

The physical traits are most definitely there, but he’s coming off an ACL injury and never played in an NFL-style offense, so there would have to be a big adjustment there.

Young was a two-time All-American and one of the greatest quarterbacks in Alabama’s history, excelling with his football IQ, brains, and accuracy.

Nonetheless, his lack of size and muscle bode major concerns about his ability to deal with the league’s physicality.

Levis, on the other hand, has drawn comparisons to Josh Allen, both being big and strong athletes with great arm strength and mobility.

But Levis’ numbers weren’t always that impressive, and we still don’t know whether that’s due to his bad supporting cast or not.

Richardson might have the highest ceiling among all QBs, but he also comes with the biggest doubts.

He’s the most athletic dual-threat QB in this class, but his accuracy, or lack thereof, is a major concern.

And last but not least, Stroud drew very positive reviews from his days at Ohio State, and it seems like there’s nothing he can’t do.

But decision-making was a bit of a red flag, so we still don’t know what to make of him as of now.
