There are just 70 days until the 2023 NFL Draft.

The incoming rookie class has been highly regarded by many experts, including one positional group that stands out among the rest.

In the NFL, the quarterback of a team is usually their leader, given the amount of responsibility that they shoulder.

April’s draft could see multiple quarterbacks drafted in the first round, including an intriguing, controversial prospect.

Several NFL scouts reportedly believe Anthony Richardson could go “as high” as ninth overall.

The Panthers currently hold the ninth overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Anthony Richardson is one of the most polarizing draft prospects.

During his junior season, Richardson threw for 2,549 yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

On the ground, he added 654 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 6.3 yards per carry.

Although he had a great senior season, many have been skeptical of Richardson’s arm talent, and his ability to succeed in the NFL.

Mel Kiper Jr. is one of the most prominent draft analysts.

If he believes that Richardson will be a top-15 pick, it’s more than likely that this prediction will come true, given his connections within NFL organizations.

Richardson’s play style is similar to that of Lamar Jackson and Justin Fields.

He can throw the ball well, but, if his first few reads aren’t open, he is quick to take off on the run.

While this has worked out for Fields and Jackson in the NFL, this style of a quarterback doesn’t always translate to the league.

If an organization is to draft Richardson, they will be taking a risk with him, especially considering that he only started 19 games in two seasons.

How early will Richardson end up getting drafted?
