The Carolina Panthers are looking to reshape their organization.
After once again missing the playoffs last year, Carolina brought in a new head coach.
That is former Indianapolis Colts HC, Frank Reich.
Reich is a former NFL quarterback with a smart offensive mind and the hope is that he can turn around the Panthers’ offense.
But, one issue the Panthers have is that they are missing a franchise quarterback.
Their current quarterback depth chart consists of Sam Darnold, Matt Corral, P.J. Walker, and Jacob Eason.
None of them have proven to be quality starters in the league.
It would not be a surprise to see the Panthers address the most important position in the upcoming draft.
Carolina has the ninth overall pick, and they could always trade up for one of the top quarterbacks.
Adding a young player that Reich can coach up would be wise.
According to NFL analyst Peter Schrager, Carolina now has 32 years of NFL QB playing experience in their HC and QB coach positions.
In Frank Reich and Josh McCown, the @Panthers now have 32 years of NFL QB playing experience in their HC and QB coach positions.
That’s a good start if Carolina opts to select a QB in the first round since 2011.

This coaching staff needs to bring in a quarterback of their own whom they can start from scratch.
If they decide to stay at ninth overall, one player that could interest them is Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson.
He has seen his draft stock skyrocket over the past few weeks, and it would be a surprise if he is not picked in the top-15.
Richardson has all the intangibles you look for in a quarterback, such as size and strength.
But, he will need a coaching staff that can help turn him into an elite player.
Reich and McCown should be up for the task.
