UCLA QB Prospect Explains Why Teams Should Draft Him

The upcoming NFL Draft has stolen most of the headlines lately, and rightfully so.

People can’t stop talking about and comparing top-notch QB prospects such as Bryce Young, Will Levis, Anthony Richardson, and C.J. Stroud, but some believe that there could be plenty of talent in the later rounds as well.

That might be the case with UCLA QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, a five-year player in California that has been under the radar for the best part of his college career.

Thompson-Robinson has drawn some interesting takes after his performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, and he recently took to Good Morning Football to explain why he should be drafted.

Instead of talking about him and his strengths, Thompson-Robinson cited how he and his teammates had a ton of reps to work on their strengths and help rebuild a struggling program to make it good again.

Thompson-Robinson believes that their resiliency and hard work are proof enough for them to find success at the next level, and he might as well be right to some degree.

He’s impressed scouts with his ability to escape and make plays out of the pocket, as well as his athleticism and prospect as a dual-threat quarterback.

He’s a guy that doesn’t force things on offense and is quite accurate at the short and mid-levels.

On the downside, he lacks the arm strength you’d want from an NFL-caliber quarterback, and he tends to do too much instead of throwing the ball away to avoid the sack.
