Titans Player Has A Message For Fans After His Release

The Tennessee Titans made a move on Wednesday that might shake up their fan base.

It was announced that they have released fan favorite Taylor Lewan.

This move should not have come as a surprise to most people because it created cap space.

Releasing Lewan freed up almost $15 million in space that the Titans can now use on other players.

The three-time pro bowler played in only two games last season after suffering a knee injury in Week 2.

At the age of 31, this might be it for Lewan and his career.

He has only played in 20 games in the past three seasons, and his body seems to be breaking down.

Even though it was not a surprise, many Titans fans will be sad to see him go.

Lewan was a fan favorite for his play and personality.

He even left a nice message for the fans after the announcement of his release.

I hope I did enough to create something all the titan fans can be proud of, I love you all. https://t.co/n96Ms4uIsX

Even though he was rarely on the field the past three seasons, his impact was still felt by the fanbase.

The Lewan release was the first of many moves the Titans made on Wednesday.

Some other players the Titans released to save cap space were Robert Woods and Randy Bullock.

The Titans are looking toward the future and it will be interesting to see what other moves they make.

It might be time for them to start rebuilding their roster.

That means turning the franchise over from Ryan Tannehill to Malik Willis.

Either way, these moves are the first of many the Titans will make this offseason.
