The NFL has seen many great linebackers over the years.
Players that are great in both coverage and the run game are what every team is looking for.
Pro Football Focus recently released their highest-graded linebackers since the 2013 season.
One player from the 2022 season had the best season in that timeframe.
That was Los Angeles Rams linebacker, Bobby Wagner.

After spending the first 10 seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle released him before last season.
He came back in 2022 with a vengeance against his former team and the rest of the league.
Despite a terrible year for the Rams, Wagner was great.
He recorded 140 total tackles with 10 quarterback hits and 10 tackles for loss.
Also, he had a career-high 6.0 sacks.
For a 32-year-old linebacker to be among the best graded since 2013 is quite impressive.
You can see this was the third time Wagner made the list.
With 2017 and 2018 as other elite seasons of his.
It looks like Wagner will not be slowing down any time soon.
He made second-team all-pro this season, and should once again be a force in the middle of the Rams’ defense.
Wagner has recorded over 80 solo tackles in every season since 2016.
Also, he continues to be one of the most reliable players in the league.
He has only missed one game over the past seven seasons.
Two players that can make a run at Wagner’s highest-graded season are Micah Parsons and Fred Warner.
Both are still in the prime of their careers and are perennial all-pro candidates.
It will be interesting to see how much longer Wagner can keep dominating.
