The Baltimore Ravens will continue to make changes to their coaching staff, this time bringing in veteran Willie Taggart to serve as their running backs coach.
Taggart comes with plenty of experience, having worked as a head coach at Florida Atlantic, South Florida, Western Kentucky, Oregon, and Florida State.
Notably, he was set to join coach Deion ‘Prime’ Sanders at Colorado, but he chose to pursue his first stint in the NFL.
The Ravens had one of the best, most explosive running games in the league, boasting plenty of talent and a ‘next-man-up’ mentality they’ll want to keep up.
The #Ravens are expected to hire Willie Taggart as their running backs coach, per source.
Taggart — the former head coach at FAU, Florida State, Oregon, South Florida and Western Kentucky — was once Jim Harbaugh’s RB coach at Stanford. Now joins brother John in Baltimore.

Also, it’s worth noting that Taggart has somewhat ties to the Ravens organization, as he played for and later coached under Jack Harbaugh, John Harbaugh’s father.
He also worked for Jim at Stanford in the late 2000s before becoming a Head Coach of his own at Western Kentucky.
He hasn’t been an assistant for quite a while, but there’s no denying that he was one of the most capable guys available for the job.
The Ravens, however, still have plenty of work to do to have a successful offseason, as star QB Lamar Jackson remains unsigned, and they’re reportedly not close to an agreement on a potential contract extension.
Jackson could be placed under the franchise tag, but some speculate that he’s ready to force his way out of the team if that’s the case, and that’s not exactly an ideal situation for Monken, Taggart, Harbaugh, or the Ravens organization at all.
