The New York Giants will have their hands full over the next several weeks.

The combine is currently taking place, and the Giants still have a few contracts to work through.

Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones have yet to be extended, something that has been expected by many ahead of the March 15th free-agent deadline.

However, the Giants made a surprising move during the combine, which was surprising to many Giants fans.

The Giants joined several teams to interview quarterback Anthony Richardson, noted NFL insider, Jordan Schultz.

Richardson has been seen as a potential top-ten pick and joins a loaded group of quarterback prospects.

According to Schultz, Richardson has met with at least eight other teams at the combine.

The Giants currently hold the 25th overall pick in April’s draft.

If they are serious about Richardson, they will likely need to acquire a higher draft pick to add him to their team.

While the Giants have publicly maintained that Jones will be their quarterback moving forward, anything can happen in the NFL.

If Jones’ camp and the Giants are unable to come to an equitable contract extension, the team could move on.

While many have attributed this interview to the Giants just doing their due diligence on Richardson, it certainly has sparked an interesting conversation among Giants fans.

The draft is less than two months away, and the Giants have a few key decisions to make.

What they will end up doing at the quarterback position, we will have to wait and see.
