The Eagles Are Reportedly Raising Ticket Prices

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a disappointing end to their season.

After making the Super Bowl, and leading at halftime, the Eagles collapsed in the second half.

Their defense could not stop the Chiefs once, as Kansas City completed the comeback.

Not only did the Eagles put their fans through the suffering of that game, but, it seems there is more bad news.

The Eagles have reportedly spiked their season ticket prices up 7% from last year according to a season ticket holder.

Just figured out how the eagles are going to pay Jalen Hurts 50m+ this year. In the end it was obvious, confirmed by opening my 2023 season ticket invoice…7% hike

The Eagles do have a big offseason ahead of them, where they will most likely have to spend a lot of money.

One player who will be looking for a lucrative contract extension is quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Hurts finished last season in second place for NFL MVP voting, and he made almost no money while doing it.

It seems like Hurts will be looking for a contract in the $50 million per year range.

That may seem like a lot, but that is the going rate for a franchise quarterback.

Even though Hurts is not a free agent until after next season, it makes sense to pay him now.

There are plenty of other quarterbacks that will be looking for new deals over the coming year.

So, getting in before them could save the Eagles some money.

The Eagles have plenty of other players they will look to re-sign this offseason.

Like C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham.

Their fans hope the raise in ticket prices will help them bring back some of these players.
