The Bengals Are Reportedly Moving On From A Notable Veteran

The Cincinnati Bengals had a tough ending to their 2022 season.

After once again returning to the AFC Championship game, the Bengals lost heartbreakingly to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now the Bengals enter an offseason where they need to improve their roster in a few different spots.

One of the key areas where they can improve is on the offensive line.

They need to do a better job of keeping Burrow upright and making sure he can stay healthy.

Well, it appears that the Bengals are already making a substantial change to their offensive line for next year.

They are expected to let go of offensive tackle La’el Collins.

He was signed by the Bengals last season but ended up tearing his ACL toward the end of the year.

Saving $6.1 million in cap space seems to be something the Bengals would rather have than Collins.

They could use the money to find a healthier lineman and someone that is younger.

Also, the Bengals should be using their first-round pick on an offensive lineman.

Other than just improving the offensive line, the Bengals have a few of their players that need new contracts.

The two most notable are Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

Each will be looking at top of the market money, and getting a deal done sooner than later will help the Bengals.

All in all, the Bengals have a big offseason ahead of them, and that should feature plenty of moves.
