Ravens WR Calls Out Team’s GM On Social Media

The Baltimore Ravens haven’t had a star wide receiver in a while.

The team seemingly can’t strike gold in the NFL Draft, and they’ve failed to give Lamar Jackson the weapons he needs in the passing game.

However, it seems like the players shouldn’t be to blame for their shortcomings, or at least that’s what Ravens WR Rashod Bateman seems to think.

The WR called out Ravens GM Eric DeCosta after he seemingly took a shot at the team’s wideouts, citing that they’re going to ‘keep swinging’ to try and find the right guy.

Bateman put him on blast by stating that the team should instead play to their players’ strengths and stop putting the blame on the players, adding that they should do a better job of keeping the players healthy.

Rashod quickly deleted the Tweet, but he didn’t exactly stop there.

He retweeted a follower who pointed out the fact that he had never struggled with injuries before joining the Ravens.

Kinda like @R_bateman2 dude was healthy in college and comes to Baltimore and hasn’t finished a season yet. Hopefully new changes lead to new healthy success. https://t.co/G49RNZ9CPU

Of course, we don’t know what’s going on in the trenches, so we cannot make an objective assessment of how they handle those things.

But we can’t ignore the fact that most of the Ravens’ skill players often miss time with injuries, and it doesn’t seem like a coincidence at this point, especially after these comments.

Trouble might be brewing in Baltimore right now, and that’s not a good look for DeCosta whatsoever.
