The Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their Super Bowl victory with a parade on Wednesday.

Many of their team members and coaches were showcased in the team’s highlight video that was plastered throughout social media.

However, team captain Patrick Mahomes posted a highlight video of his own, sharing his perspective from the parade as well.

In his first five seasons as the Chiefs’ starter, Mahomes’ on-field play has been given comparisons to Tom Brady.

During Wednesday’s parade, the comparisons to Brady grew, although, not for his on-field accolades.

Mahomes showed up to the parade in an elevated state, and he appeared to let loose throughout the parade.

There was a point during the parade when Mahomes went to the bathroom in a portable toilet and was met with booming cheers from Chiefs fans.

The Chiefs’ parade had around 1 million fans in attendance, which was nearly double what Kansas City officials were planning.

Even though the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2020, judging by fan attendance at the parade, their fandom hasn’t faltered up to this point.

Under Mahomes, the Chiefs organization has continued to flourish and is looking ahead to the 2023 season with Lombardi aspirations for the third time in the last five seasons.

The Chiefs were able to find success despite having a new-look offensive line, and younger players on the defensive side of the ball.

With another offseason together, the Chiefs should only be better next season.

The AFC is loaded with impressive teams and young quarterbacks, and Mahomes and the Chiefs will need to continue to reinvent themselves moving forward.
