The NFL quarterback landscape is expected to look much different in the 2023 season.

There are expected to be a few quarterbacks available for trade, and one has already been released.

That is former Las Vegas Raiders QB, Derek Carr.

Carr has proven to be a capable starter in the league, and someone that can lead a team to the playoffs.

He will have a large market, full of teams that have been stuck in QB purgatory for years.

One team that has already shown interest in Carr is the New Orleans Saints.

But, another club has thrown its hat into the ring as well.

The New York Jets are bringing in free-agent QB Derek Carr for a visit, source confirms @MikeGarafolo report. Carr met with the Saints last week before getting his release from the Raiders.

The Jets and Saints are considered to be the top-two landing spots at this moment.

The New York Jets might only be a quarterback away from being a playoff team.

Last season, their defense and skill players were very good, but they had no consistency at QB.

Carr would give the Jets their best option since Mark Sanchez.

It will be interesting to see how Carr weighs his options.

The Jets have the better roster but play in a much tougher division.

Also, New York is a cold-weather city, which is something Carr has not had during his time in the NFL.

For the Saints, they play in the weakest division in football and Carr would give them the best team.

But, their roster is old and they do not seem like a long-term option.

It will be a win-now team vs a team with long-term aspirations.

Ultimately, Carr will have his choice of where he wants to play in 2023 and beyond.
