The New York Jets recently flew to California to meet with Aaron Rodgers.

While many NFL fans are certain that Rodgers will be a member of the Jets in 2023, Green Bay Packers fans aren’t so sure.

After the news broke, one of Rodgers’ current teammates, Aaron Jones, took to Good Morning Football to make his plea for Rodgers to return.

Said Jones, “Come back to the Packers, we got everything we need.”

One common critique of the Packers has been their unwillingness to draft a first-round wide receiver.

Luckily for the Packers, they have been able to develop later-round talents, including Davante Adams.

However, Adams is gone now after being one of Rodgers’ favorite, most reliable weapons.

Many have pointed to this fact alone as a reason for Rodgers to move on to the Jets.

The Jets have spent significant draft capital on offensive help in the last several years, drafting Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, and Elijah Moore, for example.

Wilson broke out in his rookie campaign in 2022 and will look to improve even more in 2023.

Having a quarterback of Rodgers’ caliber could certainly help.

Given Jones’ plea on national television, he is unwilling to give up on Rodgers and isn’t going down without a fight.

Although the team has Jordan Love waiting in the wings, Rodgers is a Super Bowl champion and has multiple league MVP awards.

Losing a player of his magnitude could change the Packers franchise for the foreseeable future.

Where will Rodgers line up under center in 2023?
