NFL Reporter Makes It Clear What He Is Hearing About Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers are entering a very difficult offseason.

Many people including them seem unsure of what quarterback Aaron Rodgers is going to do.

He is set to enter his age 41 season, and retirement is certainly still on the table.

But, it seems more and more likely that Rodgers will return to the Packers for at least one more year according to a recent report.

At least that is what NFL reporter Jeff Darlington is hearing.

You’re going to want to hear what @JeffDarlington said this morning on @GetUpESPN re: Aaron Rodgers returning to the Packers.⁰

Rodgers did this same thing last season where he takes way too much time to come up with a decision.

It would make sense if the Packers decided to trade Rodgers and start looking toward their future with Jordan Love.

But, for some reason that is not being talked about enough.

Green Bay picked loved in the first round to eventually take over for Rodgers.

So to just have him sitting on the bench year after year does not seem like a smart idea.

But, the Packers must feel like Rodgers gives them the best chance to win next season.

Rodgers is coming off a down year in 2022, where he could not even lead the Packers to a .500 record.

It is hard to imagine that things would be much better in 2023, especially with Rodgers a year older.

Green Bay has to decide what they want its future to look like.

No matter what Rodgers feels, they need to make the move that is best for their franchise.

Bringing Rodgers back at the expense of Love might be something they regret years from now.
