Freddie Kitchens might be one of the most well-known coaching names across the NFL.
Unfortunately for Kitchens, he is more well-known for failures, rather than successes.
Kitchens was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns in 2019 but was fired after a 6-10 season.
Throughout his career, Kitchens has held many different coaching positions, both at the NFL and NCAA levels.
Recently, Kitchens accepted another role at the collegiate level.

The University of North Carolina has hired Kitchens as their tight ends coach, a position that he is quite familiar with.
Kitchens has held this role for several different teams across his career, including Glenville State, the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, and Dallas Cowboys.
After this hiring decision, NFL fans took to Twitter to express their feelings on the situation.
Freddie Kitchens was so bad that he’s doing position coaching in college.

As this fan describes, Kitchens was a head coach in the NFL and is now a coach for a positional group at the collegiate level.
In the minds of many Browns fans, this is just another example of a failed experiment at head coach.

In his first season with the University of North Carolina, Kitchens will be able to face off against his former employer, the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Ultimately, this might be the best move for Kitchens and his family.
While many outsiders have speculated on this situation, Kitchens’ new role is familiar to him, and he will look to improve UNC’s football team.
Despite any jokes, memes, or criticism, Kitchens has a new job at the collegiate level.
How will he be able to perform?
