There are two types of teams in the National Football League right now: Those who have a franchise QB and those who don’t.
The ladder might want to try and solve that issue in the upcoming NFL Draft, as there will be plenty of potentially great players in that position.
And according to former NFL QB David Carr, Kentucky’s Will Levis is actually the most intriguing prospect of all he’s seen in this year’s class thus far.
Carr raved about Levi’s physical traits, but he claimed to be even more impressed by his character and leadership skills:
“Will Levis is a guy that’s interesting to me,” Carr said. “We know he’s athletic, we know he’s thought, we know he’s aggressive. He has the character traits that you would love to see in a quarterback— especially a young guy — because he’s going to have to lead veteran guys and show them, ‘I’m the guy, I can make you not get fired, I can make you go do what you wanna do with this football team.’”

Now, he wants to watch him let the football rip and showcase his skills at the combine to see whether he’s got the whole package.
Levis has turned plenty of heads this season, and he’s projected to be the third quarterback off the board this year.
Of course, some don’t think he’s got the upside of being a generational player like Bryce Young or an NFL-ready kind of QB like CJ Stroud.
But Drafting isn’t an exact science, and sometimes those unmeasurable traits and intangibles are what end up defining a player’s career at the professional level.
There will be more than a handful of QB-needy teams keeping tabs on Levis and Florida’s Anthony Richardson in the middle of the first round.
So, he better be ready to bring his A-game to the NFL Draft combine to prove that he’s got what it takes to become a star in the National Football League.
