The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have some rebuilding to do.

Tom Brady has retired, and the state of their quarterback position is up for grabs at the moment.

They have begun to hire new pieces to their personnel, including a new offensive coordinator that was announced yesterday.

Let’s go @Buccaneers ! Ready to get to work, get better every day and win some championships! Thankful to be part of The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Nation! Let’s Get It!

Dave Canales has been named the newest offensive coordinator for the Buccaneers.

Canales comes to the Buccaneers with more than ten years of NFL coaching experience.

Before being hired by the Buccaneers, he spent his entire NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks.

In Seattle, he held the roles of wide receivers coach, passing game coordinator, and quarterbacks coach.

He was instrumental in the growth of Russell Wilson and will look to do the same with the newest quarterback of the Buccaneers as well.

Currently, the only quarterback on the Buccaneers’ roster is Kyle Trask, their second-round draft pick from 2021.

While Trask had a fantastic career at the University of Florida, he hasn’t had much experience in the NFL thus far.

The Buccaneers are likely to bring in a veteran quarterback this season, both to be their starter for 2023, and hopefully, mentor Trask.

For Canales, he joins an offense that is loaded with weapons like Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Leonard Fournette.

Even though the team will likely be joined by a new quarterback, Canales will at least have a great start with the players that are already on the roster.

Will the addition of Canales be enough for the Buccaneers to win the NFC South again next year?
