The New York Jets have been one of the most talked about NFL teams of the offseason.

Several free-agent quarterbacks have been rumored to be on the move, and the Jets have been named as a prime trade destination.

If the Jets do sign a marquee quarterback, recent news indicates that they will be well-protected, at least, from one member of the offensive line.

Duane Brown will return to the Jets next season, per the New York Post.

Brown was selected in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

He was on the Texans from 2008-2017 before moving to the Seattle Seahawks and has finally settled on the Jets.

Brown was a valuable contributor on their offensive line last season that struggled as a unit.

Due to injuries, the Jets had 11 unique starters on their offensive line throughout the 2022 campaign.

This is an area that the Jets will likely target in the upcoming draft, seeing that they are trying to attract a new quarterback.

With Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, and Elijah Moore already on the roster, their offensive weapons are strong.

Paired with a defense that is led by now-sophomore Sauce Gardner, the Jets should be in a prime position to succeed in 2023.

While there are many questions that will need to be answered by the Jets throughout the offseason, Brown’s spot on the offensive line is not one of them.

Will the Jets land a key free-agent quarterback that many are expecting?
