Under Dan Campbell, the Detroit Lions had hope in 2022 for the first time in several years.

If it wasn’t for a Seattle Seahawks victory in the final week of the season, the Lions would have snuck into the playoffs.

With future playoff aspirations in mind, Lions wide receiver, Amon Ra St. Brown began recruiting a few players to join their team for the 2023 season.

One of these players was Jalen Ramsey, one of the best cornerbacks in the league.

lol much love to @JaredGoff16 & @amonra_stbrown … tried my hardest to get y’all in them playoffs this year. I won’t comment on my future tho. We shall see https://t.co/JByQFEAvjh

In his pitch to Ramsey, St. Brown cited the fact that he has played with Jared Goff in the past, making this a natural fit.

While Ramsey didn’t publically shut down this idea completely, he didn’t seem too enthused about the idea either.

If Ramsey is a cap causality with the Rams, his future will be up in the air, leaving the door open for him to potentially join the Lions.

Even though they haven’t won much in years past, the Lions appear to be on the verge of a cultural shift within the organization.

Campbell has instilled a winning mindset in each member of this team.

Even though they haven’t won the division yet, they have the pieces in place to contend in 2023.

St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Aidan Hutchinson, and Kerby Joseph are just a few exciting names on this team.

If Ramsey were to join this team, he would be joining a young team who are desperately in search of veteran leadership.

Will the new-look Lions be able to shock the NFL world next season?
