J.J. Watt Shares Message He Received From NFL After Retirement

J.J. Watt retired from the NFL earlier this year after 12 seasons in the league.

During his tenure, Watt was one of the most dominant defenders across the league, and one of the best players in the NFL regardless of position.

Watt recently sent out a Tweet regarding an interesting text message that he received from the NFL.

I don’t know what happens when you click “Report Junk” but I think I’m about to find out… pic.twitter.com/7tFyHUi3ht

This message was from the NFL, saying that Watt needed to report for a drug test.

Whether this message was actually from the NFL or not, Watt certainly had a few laughs about this situation.

Watt had a massive impact on the league, and his retirement leaves a hole in the Arizona Cardinals’ defense.

Last season, the Cardinals finished the year with a 4-13 record, even with Watt on the roster.

This team will need to make significant changes to its roster if they want to take a step forward in 2023.

They will need to do so under new leadership, given the recent hire of Jonathan Gannon as their head coach.

Will the Cardinals be able to turn things around next year?

The good news for the Cardinals is that they will pick third overall in the upcoming NFL draft.

They could draft Watt’s replacement, and then make significant free-agent moves to fill in the rest of the cracks.

Wide receiver is another position that could be addressed, especially if DeAndre Hopkins takes his talents elsewhere.

If Kyler Murray is fully healthy, the Cardinals could make a big leap in 2023, provided Gannon’s staff can make everything come together.
