Caleb Williams had a spectacular collegiate season in 2022, securing the Heisman trophy.

Last year, Williams threw for 4,537 yards, 42 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

While he is more well-known for his arm talent, he also added 382 rushing yards and ten rushing touchdowns.

He did this all during his sophomore season and will return to USC for his junior year.

Even though Williams will return to college in 2023, he will likely declare for the 2024 draft.

The latest reporting has indicated that he would like to play for the Miami Dolphins in 2024 if they are in the market for a quarterback.

The Dolphins, of course, still have Tua Tagovailoa as their quarterback, who has dealt with numerous concussions over the past season.

If the Dolphins move on from Tagovailoa, either due to injury or other reasons, Williams would be a great fit for their organization.

The Dolphins have Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Mike Gesicki, and many others as offensive weapons.

Williams has been highly regarded as a quarterback prospect and is currently projected to be the number-one overall pick in 2024.

Will the Dolphins find themselves in a position to acquire the number one overall pick?

If Tagovailoa isn’t able to play for the majority of their games, the Dolphins could fall, making them one of the worst teams in the league.

This would certainly put them in contention for the number one overall pick if Tagovailoa is unable to compete at a high level.

Williams has another college season ahead of him to prove that he’s worth taking a chance on.
