The Carolina Panthers, similarly to many other teams across the league, are on the hunt to solve their quarterback woes.

Sam Darnold has not been the solution that they were looking for, and PJ Walker doesn’t seem like he will pan out long-term either.

Frank Reich was the first-ever starting quarterback for the Panthers, and is now their head coach.

During a recent press conference, Reich addressed the team’s future at the position.

Frank Reich on whether the Panthers will bring QB Derek Carr in for a visit: “Really interesting question.” He said he’s not ready to address specifics of that.

Derek Carr has been one of the most talked about quarterbacks during the offseason thus far.

He was released from the Las Vegas Raiders and is now a free agent.

When asked about bringing Carr in for a visit, Reich was non-committal in his responses.

Throughout the offseason, the Panthers have been linked to rookie quarterbacks, given the fact that they hold the ninth overall pick in the upcoming draft.

The incoming quarterback class is said to be loaded with potential franchise-altering players, and the Panthers could fully take advantage of their early capital.

However, signing a veteran would mean stability at the position, and taking less potential risk in the draft.

Reich is coming into a difficult situation in his first year as the Panthers’ head coach.

Whatever decision the Panthers make will alter their team, either positively or negatively.

The offense will almost completely change, and having a switch at quarterback can provide its growing pains.

Who will the Panthers roll out at quarterback next season?

Will it be a fresh rookie, or a seasoned veteran, looking to make their mark on a new team?
