Former NFL QB Strongly Believes 1 Thing About Carson Wentz

In a non-surprising turn of events, the Washington Commanders just released QB Carson Wentz.

Once again, Wentz was mostly terrible and held his team back every time he was on the field.

His decision-making was head-scratching, and it just seems like he’s never going to be a coachable player at this point.

That’s why former NFL star Matt Hasselbeck believes he might not only be done as a starter in this league but he might actually be done with football.

“I think not only is he done as a starter, I think there’s gonna be legitimate soul-searching for Carson Wentz on whether or not he wants to continue playing football,” Hasselbeck said.

Wentz rose to prominence with the Philadelphia Eagles as a legit MVP candidate, and he looked like a star in the making.

But ever since that injury during their Super Bowl-winning season, he’s been mostly a liability and an afterthought.

He’s refused to be held accountable, has been careless with the football, and there’s no sign of the promising gunslinger he once seemed to be.

Shortly after being benched for Jalen Hurts, he became the reason why the Indianapolis Colts failed to make the playoffs.

Then, his injury was actually a blessing in disguise for the Washington Commanders, who nearly punch a postseason ticket with Taylor Heinicke subbing in for him.

It doesn’t seem like many — if any — teams will be interested in Wentz’s services at this point in his career, and he doesn’t seem like an upgrade at the QB position for any franchise aside from maybe the Atlanta Falcons.

But he’s sure made than more enough money to get by, though, so we wouldn’t blame him if he wants to just walk away from the game.
