After Derek Carr was released from the Las Vegas Raiders, the rumor mill began.

Many around NFL media immediately speculated where his next landing spot would be, and what the Raiders’ quarterback situation will look like in 2023.

While Carr has been linked to several teams, talks have begun to heat up, including with the New York Jets.

Carr is at the combine this week and, according to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, will have a meeting with the Jets today.

Aaron Rodgers is another quarterback that has been linked to the Jets.

However, until he makes a decision, Rodgers is still tied to the Green Bay Packers.

This is potentially great news for Carr, as he is free to interview with teams like the Jets and New Orleans Saints.

If the Jets are looking to lock down a quarterback sooner than later, Carr could fill an immediate need for them.

Currently, NFL fans are just left to speculate on when the Jets will make their decision.

For Carr, it is clear that he is looking to find a home on a different roster, as the Raiders didn’t ultimately pan out.

The Jets have been seen as one of the most promising free-agent destinations, especially for quarterbacks.

They have many talented offensive weapons, and they have one of the league’s best defenses.

While it is certainly unlikely that we will hear anything about Carr’s situation anytime soon, the combine has already provided many interesting storylines.

What will be the next storyline to emerge?
