Chiefs Star Posts Cryptic Message Amid Rumors

The Kansas City Chiefs have once again found themselves in a difficult contract negotiation with one of their star players.

During the 2022 NFL offseason, the Chiefs lost out on Tyreek Hill, as he was sent to the Miami Dolphins after failing to come to an agreement.

The Chiefs could find themselves without two of their best contributors in 2023, as Orlando Brown and Frank Clark have been rumored to be moving on.

After the news about Clark broke, he took to Twitter to express how he was feeling.

“Thankful for the ups and downs per usual,” said Clark.

Clark was one of the most impactful contributors to the Chiefs defense in 2022.

During the regular season, he amassed 39 total tackles and five sacks and was a great complement to Chris Jones.

While Jones was often credited as the better player of the two, Clark’s value was found on and off the stat sheet.

If the Chiefs don’t end up re-signing Clark in the offseason, they will need to find someone to replace his production either in free agency or in the draft.

Ultimately, the Chiefs seem to make their situations work, even without superstar talent.

Patrick Mahomes was able to have an MVP season, despite not having Hill to throw to.

Good teams find a way, and the Chiefs have proven just that.

While the potential loss of Clark could sting initially, the Chiefs should still be able to compete in the AFC in 2023.

After all, they have been in the AFC Championship in the last five seasons, making it to three Super Bowls in that timeframe.
