Rich Eisen, along with countless other members of NFL media, left the combine with many takeaways.

Eisen was one of the first insiders to break the recent news of a potential Philip Rivers return.

After those comments, he continued his discourse surrounding the combine, this time, talking with Anthony Richardson.

Richardson called into Eisen’s show, who asked him about the teams that he met with during the combine.

To the surprise of many, Richardson revealed the teams that he met with, including the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens.

Kirk Cousins is technically tied to the Vikings through the end of the 2023 season and is eligible to be an unrestricted free agent in 2024.

Currently, the Vikings hold the 24th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

If they are serious about Richardson, they could move up to take him, and he would likely sit behind Cousins for a season, learning the ropes of the NFL.

Although Cousins had a fantastic 2023 season, leading the Vikings to the playoffs, many fans believe that he is holding the team back.

Richardson’s draft stock seemingly soared at the combine due to his athletic testing, and the metrics he received.

This piqued the interest of the Ravens as well, as Richardson revealed that he interviewed with them.

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson have been in contract negotiations for over a year.

If they do place the franchise tag on him as many have expected, the Ravens could also be in the market for Richardson, letting him sit for a year behind Jackson.
