The New England Patriots are looking for their next Tom Brady.

Ever since Brady left, New England has not had great quarterback play.

They invested a first-round pick in quarterback Mac Jones, and he has been decent in his first two seasons.

But, there are still questions floating around as to if the Patriots are sold on Jones or not.

Well, Boston reporter Tom Curran told the Rich Eisen Show that the Patriots are not entertaining a new quarterback.

Seems like half of the #NFL might be in the QB market this offseason but @tomecurran told us, despite all the online chatter, the #Patriots are good with Mac Jones:#NFLCombine #NFLFreeAgency #NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/wOavLYQWbQ

One positive for the Patriots is that Jones is making almost no money to play quarterback.

Having a quarterback on a rookie contract has been the best way to make the Super Bowl in recent years.

Even though Jones has been solid, the Patriots could certainly improve at the position.

One player whose name is associated with the Patriots is Jimmy Garoppolo.

He is a former Patriot and spent many years backing up Brady.

But, it seems like the Patriots want Jones to be their guy.

The offensive coordinator change in New England could be huge for Jones.

Bill O’Brien is taking over as OC, and he has experience leading good offenses.

He was the OC in New England back in 2011, and the Patriots had a great season that year.

This may be the final year Jones gets to show he can be a franchise quarterback.

Anything short of the playoff would be a disappointment for Jones and the Pats.

The Patriots believe in Jones for the 2023 season, but anything after that is still in question.
