Calvin Ridley Has A Clear Goal For His NFL Future

Calvin Ridley has recently been reinstated by the NFL after being suspended for gambling during the 2021 season.

After he was reinstated, Ridley wrote a letter for the Players’ Tribune, highlighting his thoughts on the situation.

Ridley had several notable quotes from this article, including one about his future with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“When y’all talk about the name Calvin Ridley in 10, 20, 30 years… I’m gonna make sure it rings out for the right reasons,” he said.

When he was on the Atlanta Falcons, Ridley’s impact was truly felt on the field.

He broke out during the 2020 season, racking up 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.

Ultimately, it appears that Ridley has learned from his mistakes.

He was utterly repentant in this article, and it’s clear that he wants to change his life around moving forward.

Thankfully for Ridley, he is on a team that should give him more than a fair chance to highlight his skills.

Trevor Lawrence took a big leap between his rookie and sophomore seasons and looks to make an impact in this third season as well.

The Jaguars made the playoffs in 2022, winning their first playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

With Ridley on the team, providing that he is fully healthy, the Jaguars’ offense and Lawrence should be even better in 2023.

The Jaguars are no longer the bottom-feeder of the NFL, and with a new-look team, they will look to make a splash next season.
