Cardinals WR Comments On His Future Amid Trade Rumors

The Arizona Cardinals will have to make many tough decisions this offseason.

One of the most difficult will be what to do with star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins’ name has been one of the most talked about in trade rumors around the league.

There seems to be a very good chance that the Cardinals end up trading him.

Hopkins has been hearing all the noise this offseason about him possibly being moved.

Hopkins recently said on the Pat McAfee Show that he is hearing a lot of the trade talks, but not looking to the future.

Hopkins will be 31 years old at the start of next season, but he is still playing at a very high level.

After serving a suspension for violating the NFL’s drug policy last year, Hopkins played only nine games.

In those games, he caught 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns.

He has shown no sign of slowing down despite his age.

This means there should be many wide receiver-needy teams interested in acquiring the former All-Pro.

Some teams that should be interested in Hopkins are the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and Chicago Bears.

It seems like the Cardinals are looking for a second-round pick and another pick or player in return for Hopkins.

The star receiver should be hoping to land with a contending team.

He has only played in six playoff games during his NFL career, with those all being during his time in Houston.

Hopkins seems like all but a sure thing to be traded this offseason and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
