The 2023 NFL Combine has recently concluded.
This was an opportunity for players of all positions to showcase their skills, both on and off the field.
Ahead of April’s draft, many teams are said to need a quarterback, and will potentially look to trade up, if they favor a particular prospect.
After the combine, NFL insider Daniel Jeremiah has recently commented that the number one overall pick is now between three quarterbacks.
NFL insider Dov Kleiman summarized Jeremiah’s views from his Move The Sticks podcast.
Florida QB Anthony Richardson might be the 1st overall pick in the 2023 Draft, according to @MoveTheSticks
“Yeah, I think so. I think it is a 3-person race.” between Young, Stroud and Richardson, for the number 1 overall pick.

Jeremiah states this race is now between Anthony Richardson, C.J. Stroud, and Bryce Young, with Richardson standing out as a potentially surprising top pick.
For the months leading up to the combine, Stroud and Young were publicly viewed as the two best quarterback prospects.
This, of course, was before Richardson competed in combine drills.
Richardson had the fastest 40-yard dash, highest vertical, and longest broad jump among participating quarterbacks.
This may have caused many to move Richardson up their draft boards.
Jeremiah is a notable NFL insider and is well-connected throughout the league.
If he believes that this is truly a three-person race, he’s likely receiving intel from one of his high-level sources.
What team is most likely to trade up to the first overall position?
Currently, the Chicago Bears hold the number one pick.
They have publicly stated that Justin Fields is going to be their starting quarterback.
If this is truly the case, the Bears are in a prime spot to trade this pick away, and they could get a king’s ransom for it, provided the latest information on the top three quarterbacks.
