Tua Tagovailoa Is Reportedly Branding His Own Name

His NFL career didn’t get off to the best start, but Tua Tagovailoa is slowly becoming a marquee name.

Last season, he was the focal point in one of the most explosive offenses in the league, and Mike McDaniel’s first year in charge of the Miami Dolphins was quite encouraging.

Tua played like a legit MVP candidate while he was healthy, and the Dolphins could’ve made a lot of noise if they had been able to protect him from all those huge hits.

So, now that the Dolphins have shut down all the rumors about their interest in Lamar Jackson, it seems like the Alabama product is ready to ride the wave and capitalize on his new-found success as the face of the franchise.

According to trademark attorney Josh Gerben, Tua has filed a trademark application for his own name.

He’s interested in releasing a new brand of apparel, clothing, football, under-eye grease, and many more football-related items in the foreseeable future.

The filing indicates that the Miami Dolphins QB plans to launch a TUA TAGOVAILOA-brand of:

The Miami sports market is one of the biggest and most lucrative.

Also, he’s a local icon in Hawaii, so you better believe he can find plenty of customers more than willing to acquire his products.

Of course, all of that will be tied to his success on the gridiron, as well as how the team performs with him under center.

But if last season is an indication of what his future in Miami will look like, then he could be in for a big payday right there.
