The Seahawks Could Possibly Reunite With A Former Player

The Seattle Seahawks just locked in their most important free agent for at least a couple of more seasons.

Now, they could try and reunite with a very familiar face, as franchise legend Bobby Wagner is reportedly considering a comeback.

Notably, Seahawks GM John Schneider and HC Pete Carroll were rather cryptic and tight-lipped about a potential reunion with the soon-to-be-released Los Angeles Rams veteran.

However, the executive has finally admitted that the team has been in touch with Wagner since he was granted permission to pursue a new opportunity somewhere else.

The #Seahawks and 9x All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner have had talks about a potential reunion, per GM John Schneider on @SeattleSports.

This would be one of the best stories of the offseason, watching him go full circle and return to the team where he thrived for a decade.

Also, this would mean that Wagner was able to bury the hatchet with the front office, as both parties didn’t part ways on the best terms.

The Seahawks didn’t even let him know beforehand that he was being released, something for which they’ve apologized for.

He’s one of the most accomplished and beloved players in franchise history, not to mention a big fan favorite.

More than that, despite his age and his team’s terrible season, Wagner was as productive and dominant as per usual in his stint in Los Angeles, logging 140 tackles with five pass breakups, 10 QB hits, two picks, and six sacks.

All things considered, it’s nice to see that Wagner could get the opportunity to ride into the sunset with this organization, as it never felt quite right to see him somewhere else.
