Raiders GM Reveals His Relationship With Davante Adams

The Las Vegas Raiders shocked NFL fans in the 2022 offseason by landing Davante Adams.

This move was said to reunite Adams with Derek Carr, his former collegiate teammate.

However, after a 6-11 record, and Carr no longer being on the team, many have wondered if Adams is regretting his decision to leave the Green Bay Packers.

The Raiders are now on the hunt to find their next starting quarterback, and it appears that Adams will be involved in their search.

According to Raiders GM Dave Ziegler, he notes how this is one of the closest relationships he’s had with a player.

Although Adams has only been on the Raiders for one year, it appears that he and Ziegler have formed quite a relationship.

Allowing your star receiver to speak his mind about his future quarterback instills a sense of trust between the front office and the roster.

Aaron Rodgers could leave the Packers, depending on a decision that he’s expected to make in the coming days.

If that is to happen, would Rodgers move to Las Vegas, reuniting with Adams?

Rodgers has been linked to the New York Jets and Raiders, but of course, is still under contract with the Packers.

As much as Adams might want him to be his quarterback, the team’s hands could be tied.

The next few weeks will be telling for both organizations.

Both are looking to solidify their quarterback situation and Adams will want to make sure that his new quarterback will be a great fit for him.
