NFL Insider Has Stunning Report About Lamar Jackson Situation

The Baltimore Ravens made one of the most surprising moves of the offseason.

After failing to re-sign quarterback Lamar Jackson, the Ravens decided to give him the non-exclusive franchise tag.

That means Jackson is free to negotiate with any team once free agency opens on March 15th.

But, the Ravens will ultimately have the last say in where Jackson plays.

They will have the opportunity to match any offer and can keep him in Baltimore if they choose.

But another caveat in the non-exclusive tag is any team that signs Jackson will have to give up two first-round picks.

According to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, he has talked to a number of NFL teams that have stated they don’t see anyone making an offer for Jackson.

It appears that many teams are afraid to pay the $200+ million in guaranteed money that Jackson is looking for.

Any team that is in desperate need of a quarterback should be making a move for Jackson.

The former league MVP is only 26 years old, and he is just entering his prime.

Jackson is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the league.

But that has caused him to get injured each of the last two seasons.

He has played 12 games each of the last two years, and for a player wanting a massive contract, that is a concern.

The positives far outweigh the negatives with Jackson, and there should be plenty of teams interested in him.
