Even though not everyone around the NFL thinks of him as a top-tier quarterback, Derek Carr continues to gauge interest among multiple suitors.

Several quarterback-needy teams are desperately craving an upgrade at the position, and they could do a lot worse than Derek Carr at this point.

That’s why it’s not a surprise to see NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reporting that Carr will be quite busy during this week’s NFL Combine festivities, as he’s expected to meet with at least three teams.

When QB Derek Carr arrives in Indianapolis today, he’ll have in-person free agent meetings with 3 teams: The #Jets, the #Saints, and the #Panthers. He’s already visited New Orleans and NYJ, now he adds Carolina and maybe more. Coaches, GMs, owners all in the same spot this week.

Carr is reportedly set to meet with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints, adding the Carolina Panthers as another potential suitor.

The former Las Vegas Raiders QB was reportedly pretty close to being traded to the Saints before letting the team know that he wouldn’t waive his no-trade clause, which prompted his release.

He later had a very positive visit with the Jets, hitting it off with HC Robert Saleh and discussing his potential role in the offense.

Now, he’s set to meet with Frank Reich, a former QB that sure knows how to make things interesting for a gunslinger looking for a new place to take his talents.

Rapoport added that some other teams could look to enter his sweepstakes as well.

Notably, the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could also be in the mix for an upgrade at the QB position, and even the Washington Commanders could be tempted to at least test the waters.

Whatever the case, it won’t be long before Carr finds a new home.
