It’s not a secret that Madden is a must-have video game for NFL fans all over the world.

However, the latest editions of the game have been heavily criticized — and rightfully so, which is why NFL insider Dov Kleiman reports that Electronic Arts is dealing with the new version as a ‘make or break’ title for the franchise and that ‘big chances’ are coming to the game.

Report: Madden NFL 24 will be a “make or break” release for the franchise.

Big changes are coming.

The negative response to the game, which management believes is completely justified, has forced many inside EA to have a “now or never” mentality, per @InsiderGamingIG pic.twitter.com/vBrmrBPPjS

Cloud save issues, bugs, and somewhat odd gameplay made fans call EA out more often than not, and they’re taking notice.

In fact, a recent report states that those who were affected by their issues would get an invite for a closed beta version of Madden NFL 24, both for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 users.

Moreover, those who lost progress due to that same issue will get a massive 50% discount on the new edition of the game.

As for the new features, EA Sports has been quite tight-lipped about them, so we don’t fully know what to expect from one of the most popular franchises in video game history.

Madden has kept the NFL game industry in a chokehold for nearly two decades now, holding exclusive NFL rights for the players.

That’s just one of the many reasons why it’s become such a massive hit and a can’t-miss kind of product in terms of sales for EA Sports.

However, they just cannot afford to drop the ball again, as fans have threatened to boycott the franchise going forward, so they better bring their A-Game this time around.
