Lamar Jackson Calls Out Reporters Over Contract Speculation

One of the interesting parts of free agency will be what happens with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

He was given the non-exclusive franchise tag, meaning he is free to negotiate with other teams.

But, so far, we have not heard of any teams reaching out to Jackson about a potential deal.

That is not expected to remain, as quarterback-needy teams should be looking to make a move.

A former MVP quarterback in the prime of his career is rarely available.

But, in this case, every team is free to present an offer to Jackson.

Jackson is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the sport, and that style can lead to more injuries.

Over the past two seasons, Jackson has played in exactly 12 games each.

Many people believe that Jackson could benefit from hiring an agent.

As of now, he is negotiating his deals with the help of his mother.

Jackson sent out a tweet refuting the reports that he received a $200 million contract offer.

If a 3-year deal for $133 million was the best he has received, it makes sense why he is not signed.

Jackson should be looking to become the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.

Most NFL teams seem hesitant to give Jackson a fully guaranteed deal like Deshaun Watson received.

But, he should be asking for that as Jackson has accomplished much more in the league than Watson.

It will be interesting to see how this contract saga plays out, and what team Jackson will suit up for next year.
