The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to add some reinforcements to their wide receiver room.

After an under-the-radar trade to get Calvin Ridley, the Jags were hoping to get him back for this season.

According to Brian McCarthy, the star wide receiver has just been fully reinstated by the NFL.

Ridley was suspended last season for violating the NFL’s gambling policy.

But, now he is back and ready to join a high-powered offense.

Jacksonville went from worst to first last season in the AFC South.

One of the main reasons was the development of quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

He showed all of the traits that made him the first overall pick, and he should take another jump forward in 2023.

The addition of Ridley should be huge for the Jaguars’ offense.

He joins a loaded pass catcher group including Christian Kirk, Evan Engram, and Zay Jones.

The Jags should be the favorite to repeat as division champs next year.

The last time we saw a fully healthy Ridley was in 2020, when he caught 90 passes for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.

It will be interesting to see what he looks like after not playing for a whole season.

But, he should once again be a very productive player in Jacksonville.

Also, this is a massive upcoming season for Ridley, because he is in a contract year.

For him to get a massive payday next year he will need to play well and show he is the same player we saw in 2020.
