Former Bills Punter Has Found A New Home

To say that it was a wild season for the Buffalo Bills would be a bit of an understatement.

It all started in the offseason when Matt Araiza was involved in a scandal.

The Bills released him after allegations surfaced from Araiza’s time at San Diego State University, cutting his NFL career short just weeks after being drafted in the sixth round of the NFL Draft.

However, now that prosecutors in Southern California announced they weren’t going to pursue criminal charges against the former punter, he’s free to continue his career somewhere else.

The prosecution determined that the evidence didn’t support the claims and accusations against Araiza.

Needless to say, most NFL teams wouldn’t want all that bad PR for a punter and didn’t even consider signing him last season, so he took his talents south of the border instead.

According to the team’s official social media accounts, the 22-year-old will now serve as Tijuana Galgos’ punter and kicker, playing at the Liga de Futbol Americano Profesional, a local tournament featuring ten teams.

Of course, there’s always a chance that another NFL team will consider him in the future.
