Once considered one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League, Antonio Brown has made more headlines off the field than on it.
It all started back when he forced his way out of the Pittsburgh Steelers, taking big shots at Ben Roethlisberger and raising controversy over the franchise’s decision to part ways with him.
Brown then posted a video of him talking to Raiders coach Jon Gruden and celebrating after being released by the team in one of the most bizarre incidents we had seen thus far.
It didn’t take long before he one-upped himself week in and week out, threatening to sue the New England Patriots after allegations of his erratic behavior rose, then being tangled up in multiple altercations with the law, taking shots at Tom Brady, and even walking away mid-game in a game vs. the New York Jets.
The last time we heard of him was when he was spotted skinny-dipping on some viral clips, so we can’t blame anyone for raising their eyebrows as soon as they see Antonio Brown is trending.
This time, the erratic Wideout made the rounds for purchasing the Albany Empire of the National Arena League, claiming he did it because it was his father’s team and taking an uncalled-for shot at Kurt Warner.
BREAKING: Statement from Antonio Brown to @_MLFootball regarding his purchase of the Albany Empire of the National Arena League:
“Imagining buying your father’s team you saw him be the greatest AFL player all-time over Kurt Warner, so for me to bring the community back give… https://t.co/ggVdddY3cl pic.twitter.com/JM7FnK7TZO

Little did Brown know that his father actually played for the Albany/Indiana Firebirds of the AFL, which was a different team playing in a different league.
They didn’t buy his father’s team. This is not the Albany Firebirds…it’s the Albany Empire…a different team in a different league.

Needless to say, this led to even more mockery and jokes on social media.
It seems like nothing will surprise us from Brown at this point.
