The Philadelphia Eagles had an impressive season in 2022, as they achieved top-ten metrics on their offense and defense.

Their strong play was attributed to many of their star players, including A.J. Brown, Jalen Hurts, Darius Slay, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

However, their offense was anchored by one player, at a position that is often overlooked.

Jason Kelce has been touted as one of, if not the best centers in the entire league.

Recently, Kelce announced that he would be returning for the 2023 season, and the Eagles responded with a large contract.

According to Adam Schefter, Kelce signed a one-year deal, which totaled $14.25 million.

One day after he announced he would return for another season, Pro Bowl center Jason Kelce and the Eagles reached agreement on a one-year, $14.25 million deal, per sources.

Kelce and the Eagles will look to finish what they started last season and win the Super Bowl.

The NFC looks to be weaker than the AFC again in 2023, giving the Eagles a prime opportunity to reclaim their title as NFC champions.

Among other vital intangibles, Kelce’s ability to help with the quarterback sneak is one of his most valuable attributes.

The Eagles led the league in quarterback sneak attempts and had the most first downs from this play as a result.

Hurts took a massive leap in production during the 2022 season, and, among other people, he has Kelce to thank.

He was an MVP candidate last year, and with Kelce under center, he will be in a great position to repeat his success.

Kelce is a five-time first-team All-Pro, a six-time Pro Bowler, and a Super Bowl champion.

Many have said that Kelce is on his way to being a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and he will look to continue his greatness in 2023.
