Even though the Buffalo Bills have fallen short of expectations the last two seasons with back-to-back Divisional round losses, they have plenty of reasons to be hopeful about the immediate future.

They have one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks in Josh Allen, an absolute star at wide receiver in Stefon Diggs, and a very strong defense.

In addition, they will be playing in a new, state-of-the-art stadium beginning in the 2026 season, and the team released some renderings of what it will look like to get members of the Bills Mafia hyped.

The journey toward the New Bills Stadium continues.

The Bills Mafia has been through some rough times, as the team endured a long rebuilding process after making the playoffs in 1999.

It would be 18 more years before they returned to the postseason, as the team went through a revolving door of coaches and quarterbacks.

But the drafting of Allen with the seventh selection in the 2018 NFL Draft brought the Bills into a new era of success.

It took him a couple of seasons to develop, but in 2020, he threw for 4,544 yards and 37 touchdowns while running for an additional 421 yards and eight scores, which earned him his first Pro Bowl nod.

Buffalo has finished first in the AFC East three years in a row thanks to Allen’s exploits, which is something they hadn’t done since the days of Hall of Famers Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, and Andre Reed.

Now, the team has to find a way to get over the hump, which will likely involve defeating the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at some point in the playoffs.
