The Buffalo Bills have made an important move for the 2023 season and the many years beyond.
After failing to reach expectations in 2022, the Bills are hoping to run it back with better results next year.
One player that we know will be in Buffalo for the foreseeable future is linebacker Matt Milano.
According to Aaron Wilson, the Bills have agreed to a two-year contract extension with Milano.
#Bills Pro Bowl linebacker Matt Milano, two-year extension with $14 million in cash per year, per league source. Strong move with increased cash for a player who was going to be 31 at end of previous contract. Now, he’s under contract through 2026 season

Milano was one of the most important players on the Bills’ roster last season.
He is coming off the best season of his career, where he made first-team All-Pro.
Milano played in 15 games last season and had 99 combined tackles and three interceptions.
The Bills decided to extend Milano now because the move creates $6 million in cap space.
It will be interesting to see what other moves the Bills plan to make this offseason.
They can use improvements on both sides of the ball.
Buffalo should be looking to make moves that can keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals.
Each has beaten the Bills in the playoffs the past two seasons and they will have to go through them to get to the Super Bowl.
Keep an eye on the Bills adding an impact player either through the draft or free agency.
One player the Bills have shown interest in is Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams.
He led the NFL in rushing touchdowns last season and would be a welcome addition.
