Bears Star Has A Request For A New Stadium

The Chicago Bears have announced their plans for a new stadium.

Their current stadium, Soldier Field, has been their home for the past 51 seasons and is one of the most iconic stadiums in the NFL.

However, it appears that the team will soon begin constructing a new facility, which the team will call home.

If Justin Fields has anything to say about it, their new stadium will come with a new amenity that is common to many clubs across the league.

Fields has publicly requested a dome on the Bears’ new stadium, given the constant cold in Chicago.

Many teams see an outdoor stadium as an advantage, especially if their opponent comes from a city that traditionally has warmer weather.

Take the Green Bay Packers, for example.

Lambeau Field has been said to be one of the most difficult stadiums to play at.

The extreme cold, along with the relentless Packers fanbase, are the two factors that generally play into this, as Green Bay is notorious for subzero temperatures.

However, it appears that Fields doesn’t necessarily want this advantage, given that a dome is much more weather-neutral.

With a dome, there is no chance for a game to be impacted due to rain or snow, and it is a much more hospitable environment for both teams.

Will the team take Fields’ suggestion to heart?

Fields was their first-round draft pick in 2021.

If the Bears see him as a long-term asset for the team, they will likely heed his suggestion to appease him moving forward.
