The Philadelphia Eagles were able to steamroll their way through the NFC on their way to the Super Bowl this season.

This was largely part of the spectacular play of Jalen Hurts and the weapons that the Eagles surrounded him with.

One of these weapons was A.J. Brown, who they acquired from the Tennessee Titans before the 2022 NFL season.

Brown and Hurts established a quick connection, which led him to make a bold claim about his future with the team.

Brown declared that the organization might as well ship him off if they don’t pay Jalen Hurts.

Hurts is still on his rookie contract with the Eagles, but many have expected him to get extended in the off-season.

This includes Brown, who would love to be tied to Hurts for the foreseeable future.

Brown had a career year in 2022, as he was the fourth-leading receiver in the league in terms of receiving yards.

He was tied for the third-most touchdown catches as well.

The Eagles have put together a potent offense, and they will look to improve on their 2022 success.

Hurts was an MVP candidate, and he proved to the league that he is much more than a running quarterback, but an effective passer as well.

Do the Eagles see him in a similar light?

Many elite quarterbacks are looking for contract extensions this season, including Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Hurts.

Who will get paid first, paving way for the other two teams?
