After winning Super Bowl LVI, the Los Angeles Rams had a very dismal title defense this past season, going just 5-12 and missing the playoffs by a mile.
They had several key players out for long stretches due to injury, including quarterback Matthew Stafford and All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and they could look significantly different next season.
One change that has been rumored is the possible departure of head coach Sean McVay.
After thinking about possibly leaving his job, he decided he would return for the 2023 campaign, and apparently, he is now committed to staying with L.A. for the next several seasons.

The Rams raised some eyebrows when they hired McVay to be their head coach prior to the 2017 season.
He was just 30 years of age that season and his only prior coaching experience was his three years as the Washington Redskins’ offensive coordinator from 2014 to 2016.
But he quickly made the Rams into the top-scoring offense in the NFL in his first season, and in their second season back in Southern California, they won 11 games and made the playoffs for the first time since 2004.
Once Stafford arrived via trade two years ago, and especially after they then acquired former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller during the 2021 season, all the pieces were in place for them to bring the city of Los Angeles its first Vince Lombardi Trophy since the early 1980s.
Linebacker Bobby Wagner is now a free agent, and the team is expected to trade star cornerback Jalen Ramsey soon, which means another world championship is likely many years away for it.
