NFL Insider Highlights A Long List Of Available Talent At 1 Position

The new NFL league year is set to begin on March 15th.

That is when free agency will also open for all 32 teams.

Looking at some of the upcoming free agents, there are a bunch of talented players.

One spot that seems especially deep is running back.

Many teams are afraid to pay running backs, which could be why some good ones hit the open market.

According to Field Yates, this year’s free-agent class of running backs is loaded with talent.

The franchise tag shrunk the top of the the FA RB class, but it’s still extremely deep:

– David Montgomery
– Jeff Wilson
– Devin Singletary
– Damien Harris
– Kareem Hunt
– Jamaal Williams
– Raheem Mostert
– Rashaad Penny
– Jerick McKinnon
– Alexander Mattison

Many players on this list have been number-one running backs for years.

On this list, we have the NFL rushing touchdown leader from last season, Jamaal Williams.

He was a big reason for the success of the Lions and a player that can help many teams.

Also, when it comes to pass-catching running backs, there are not many better than Jerick McKinnon.

He had a career season with the Chiefs last year where he caught 56 passes for 512 yards and nine touchdowns.

But, the best running back on this list might be Kareem Hunt.

He has been underutilized the past few seasons in Cleveland, but he is an RB1 on most teams.

Not only is he a great runner but he can also catch the ball.

He was a star in his rookie year with the Chiefs, rushing for 1,327 yards.

If he can be the lead back on a team and could easily put up another 1,200+ yard season.

Keep an eye on where these running backs end up, as most of them should have a big market.
