A Rams WR Has Reportedly Asked To Be Traded

The Los Angeles Rams were one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL last season — if not the most.

They set a mark for the most losses by a reigning Super Bowl champion, not the kind of history one would like to make.

Injuries, poor play, defensive miscues, and some tough luck hurt Sean McVay’s team week in and week out, but some guys just failed to step up when their numbers were called.

That was the case with Allen Robinson, who was supposed to have a prominent role in the passing game, yet he was never able to develop any sort of rapport with Matthew Stafford.

People expected Robinson to be the Rams’ clear WR2 behind Cooper Kupp, with some even predicting Kupp’s production would take a major hit because of his presence.

That was never the case, and Robinson isn’t a part of their plans anymore.

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, both parties have agreed to part ways.

The Rams have given Robinson’s camp permission to seek a trade, and they’re even willing to pay a portion of his salary just to watch him leave.

The #Rams have given WR Allen Robinson’s agents permission to seek a trade, and L.A. is willing to pay a portion of Robinson’s $15.25 million guaranteed salary to facilitate a deal, per sources.

Robinson was considered one of the most underrated wideouts in the league and a victim of poor QB play throughout his entire career.

He’s just 29 years old, so he should have plenty left on the tank, and several teams could be interested in adding a playmaking guy like him.

But will A-Rob be the guy he was throughout the best part of his career, or was last year’s debacle the beginning of the end?
